  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The 22-year-old's season has yet to take off after he suffered a groin injury with the USMNT in September. However, Reyna was a welcome attendee at Dortmund training on Tuesday and he could make Nuri Sahin's squad for Saturday's Bundesliga clash at home to Freiburg.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Reyna has endured a difficult year, featuring briefly during a loan spell with Nottingham Forest and playing just nine minutes of the 2024-25 season before his injury. To add to his woes, he suffered a setback as he was nearing a return to action last month.

    WHAT NEXT FOR REYNA?

    The attacking midfielder will hope to get his season up and running for a Dortmund side currently lying seventh in the Bundesliga. Freiburg await on Saturday before they travel to Croatia to take on Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League next Wednesday.
